Lukely World started the way a lot of good things do: with a parent, a little one and a lot of pointing.
Ball. Cup. Dog. Moon.
When his son was little, our founder noticed how much of every day was about pointing at things together. The cup at breakfast. The dog down the street. The moon out the window at bedtime. Every one of them was a small moment to share.
He wanted simple pages for those moments: one big, clear picture of a real, everyday thing, room to color and a little nudge for the grown-up to say the word together. So he started making them for his son. That’s how Lukely World began.
Who are Lukely and Bear?
Lukely is the curly-haired little kid at the heart of our books. Lukely is a made-up character, inspired by a real little boy.
Bear is Lukely’s best friend: a fluffy cream “dog bear” with a round teddy-bear face, a big fluffy chest and a puff of a tail. He’s loyal, happy and always up for the next adventure.
We keep our own family’s privacy, so you won’t find our son’s name, photos or birthday anywhere on this site. That’s a promise to our family, and we keep the same care for yours.
Why Bear?

Bear the character is drawn from our family’s own fluffy cream Pomeranian, Bear, who loved every adventure. Our first book will be dedicated to him, and his paw print will be our little sign-off. Look for it hidden in our pages.
